Facilitative Listening Design (FLD) is a community approach to gather information and even help us see other perspectives on issues that are important to people. It can be a useful tool for those seeking to understand and change thinking and behaviour among different groups.
In 2018, WPM and Japan-based Peace Mask Project collaborated to bring a conceptual art process to conclude FLD fieldwork with our Listeners. Together we learned that art not only creates the opportunity to engage “The Other”, but also to better understand oneself.
